Valentine's Day Dinner

  • Falmouth Country Club 1 Congressional Drive Falmouth, ME, 04105 United States (map)

A night to celebrate the love... of great food! Join us for a five course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Nick Verdisco and Pastry Chef Sarah Miller... with an option to include wine pairings by Sommelier Erica Archer. Reservations are required!

Your Sommelier
Archer is a true oenophile, having obtained high levels of certification in her field. In 2010, she was awarded the Wine Spirit and Education Trust Level Three Advanced Certification in Wines and Spirits (with merit), became a Sommelier in the American Court of Master Sommeliers, and received her Certified Wine Professional award from the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California. Erica is the principal of Wine Wise, a wine education and events service and is skilled at creating truly creative and memorable wine experiences that take guests beyond a typical tasting with her intimate understanding of what makes each wine unique. And she’ll do it with her trademark down to earth style and sense of humor.

Your Chef
A Scottsdale Arizona native, Nick grew up with a passion for food.  Coming from an Italian Family, he recalls large Sunday meals, making pasta by hand with his grandmother and arguing about if it was "sauce" or "gravy". Nick's culinary journey led him to The School House at Cannondale under Chef Tim LaBant, where his flair for creating modern American cuisine using fresh, local ingredients was established.

He went on to work for acclaimed Chef Jean-Georges Vongrichen as an Executive Sous Chef at The Inn at Pound Ridge in Westchester, New York, cooking for the likes of Martha Stewart, Ryan Reynolds, and Blake Lively. After a visit years later to Acadia National Park, Nick and his wife fell in love with Maine and decided to relocate. His kitchen team followed.

Please note: Wine Wise gift cards are not redeemable for Falmouth Country Club events.
